New O’Horán Hospital, a reflection of the health transformation promoted by the state government

The construction works of the new General Hospital “Dr. Agustín O’Horán” officially began on Thursday, June 29th, a project that represents the fulfillment of a long-cherished dream by the Yucatecans, who will soon have a larger and better-equipped public hospital.

Governor Mauricio Vila Dosal laid the first stone of what will be the new hospital, located to the south of this city, which is considered the largest to be built throughout the country in recent years.

The modern hospital is being built on land donated by the state government, next to the Maternal and Child Hospital, near the Korea-Mexico Friendship Hospital.

The new hospital will have 66,600 square meters of construction on an area of almost 11 hectares, while the current one only occupies 4 hectares. It will have 300 beds, surpassing the 254 it currently has, it will have 15 operating rooms, when there are only 6 in the building it occupies today, and the number of offices will be increased from 41 to 81.

As an innovation, it will have areas that were not considered before, such as the Women’s, Cleft Lip and Palate, Pain and Palliative Care Clinics, as well as ample parking spaces, an auditorium and a heliport to attend emergencies with the support of the Secretariat’s helicopter. of Public Security (SSP).

The materialization of this project, long yearned for by the Yucatecans and which several previous administrations tried to carry out without success, is one of the reasons why Vila Dosal decided to remain in Yucatan and put aside the race for the candidacy for the country’s presidency. . It is part of the transformation of the state that the Governor has launched since the first day of his administration, a transformation that is seen and felt.

It's a great article, it's nice to read that the government is starting to take care of the health of its population, thereby improving the working conditions of doctors and medical institutions. I used to write a lot of papers in college, and this service https://www.nursingpaper.com/examples/nursing/ helped me with this, they helped me gain a lot of useful and valuable knowledge in the field of medicine. This helped me a lot in the future when writing various papers and, most importantly, when defending my diploma. Interestingly enough, I noticed that the state of the medical field is improving everywhere, which makes me very happy, because people deserve to be treated in good conditions.
