In an effort to strengthen the basic infrastructure of Chelem, the mayor of Progreso, Julián Zacarías Curi, conducted a supervision tour of the 100-meter electrical network expansion works taking place on Calle 8 between 23 and 25 in this locality.
During the visit, Julián Zacarías spoke with the residents of the area, who expressed their satisfaction with the prompt attention given by the Municipal Government to the citizen report they made to address this request. In this context, the mayor emphasized that “in this administration, we are committed to listening to the citizens and offering solutions to their problems. In this case, we know that expanding the electrical network is essential to guarantee the well-being of the residents in the area and the development of their activities, especially during this season of intense heat.”
The expansion works include trench excavation, replacement of concrete poles, as well as the installation of metal structures and a low-voltage line. This will enable meeting the growing demand for electricity in the area and avoid supply interruptions during periods of high consumption.
With these actions benefiting the families in the municipality, the Municipal Government continues to work towards progress and well-being.
