Joe Biden’s son pleads guilty to two counts of tax fraud

Hunter Biden, son of Joe Biden, President of the United States, will plead guilty to two counts of tax fraud and one count of illegal possession of firearms, as part of an agreement reached with the Delaware Prosecutor’s Office to avoid prison.

“The agreement would depend on Biden remaining substance-free for 24 months and agreeing never to possess a firearm again. The agreement still needs to be approved by a federal judge.

“Mr. Biden is expected to appear before a federal court in Delaware in the coming days to be prosecuted for minor tax charges and plead guilty,” The New York Times reported.

Joe and Jill Biden issued a brief statement through a spokesperson, stating that they “love their son and support him as he continues to rebuild his life.”

The agreement has enraged Republicans in the United States, especially former President Donald Trump, who asserted that the charges have been resolved as if they were “a mere traffic fine,” that the “system is broken,” and that the Department of Justice is “corrupt.”
