

With 25 votes in favor, Yucatecan representatives approved that the State Government donate a piece of land to the IMSS-Bienestar Health Services for the construction of the new Agustín O’Horán Hospital.
In ordinary session, the donation of the land located in block 280 of cadastral section 21 of the Renacimiento neighborhood, marked with number 479 of 80th Street, was unanimously approved.

Taking the floor, Congresswomen Rubí Argelia Be Chan and Dafne Lopez Osorio spoke in favor of this resolution.
It was informed that the new hospital will grow from four to 11 hectares, will have 300 beds, 81 consulting rooms, spaces for pain care, women’s care, cleft lip and palate surgery and a heliport.
