MÉRIDA.- The Va y Ven system, with routes on Periférico, Circuito Metropolitano, and now Las Américas, also has a new modality for reporting inconveniences: A WhatsApp chat.
It is worth remembering that in the next few days the Francisco de Montejo routes should be added to the list of the Va y Ven Metropolitan System of Friendly and Sustainable Mobility.
The “Va y Ven” offers a more inclusive mobility because the new units have a ramp, spaces for wheelchairs, tactile floor, Braille system, preferential seating and low floor so that they can access with all the facilities. In addition, payments can only be made with a special card.
Where can I report a “Va y Ven”?
If you have had any inconvenience in any transfer or you have not been able to get on the transport because it ‘did not stop’, you can now report your dissatisfaction and file a report. To do so, the ”Va y Ven” system has integrated the WhatsApp Chatbus.
All you have to do is send a message to the following number: 999 165 2474. Then you will automatically receive a response asking for your full name, email and your neighborhood.
Afterwards, you will be offered some options to help:
- File a report
- Request information
- Leave a suggestion
- Other
Finally it gives you some options to inform about the type of report you want to make, and after checking the option an assistant will continue with your report.
- My bus was late in arriving or did not pass
- I was denied service
- It did not finish its route
- Physical condition of the unit
- Treatment by the Operator
- Harassment
- Cards / Cashier
- Report lost item
- Pedestrian Bridge Elevators
- Other
- Back to menu
How much does the Va y Ven fare cost?
The route has a general fare of 12 pesos; for students and senior citizens, 5 pesos, and in the case of users with disabilities, it will be free of charge.
However, all “Va y Ven” routes have a promotion. The first trip will have a normal price of $12; the second trip will be $6 for the first two hours and the third one will be free.
