QRoo, June 3, 2023.- More than a hundred people marched this Saturday in Chetumal to demand that the Animal Welfare Law be applied in Quintana Roo.
The demonstrators pointed out that there are cases of animal abuse that remain unpunished despite being reported to the Attorney General’s Office of Quintana Roo.
With banners that gave clear messages that said “we are their voice”, “just because they do not speak does not mean they do not feel”, “justice for them”, and “no to animal abuse”, among many others, the citizens showed their discomfort.
