An LGBTQ+ community activist in Moroleón, Guanajuato was shot and killed

An LGBTQ+ community activist in Moroleón, Guanajuato, Ivanna Divina Jhons, was shot and killed in her business located at the corner of Puebla and Aguascalientes streets.

She was 35 years old. According to preliminary reports from authorities, it was around 8:00 PM when people walking by the area reported via the Emergency System 911 that gunshots were heard in a clothing store and that a person was seen lying on the floor inside.

Public Security personnel responded to the report and upon arriving at the store marked with the number 46, they confirmed the report. They found the victim inside.

When the Red Cross paramedics arrived and checked for vital signs, they stated that the victim no longer had vital signs.
