So far in the current administration, 10,165 reports of the initiative that promotes the creation of support networks to guarantee the safety of women have been followed up.

In the last year, through the “Mujer Valiente” initiative of the Secretariat of Citizen Protection and Security (SPSC), there is a record of 7,846 emergency reports of violence, revealed Marcela Muñoz Martínez, head of the agency, who added that so far this administration, 10,615 reports have been attended.

She pointed out that these numbers reflect the positive impact of the public policy implemented by the SPSC to combat any form of violence and prevent crime in the state.

Muñoz Martínez emphasized that the attention to emergency reports is only part of the comprehensive approach of the “Mujer Valiente” initiative, since through this initiative, the creation of support networks is promoted and follow-up is provided to victims, to ensure their long-term safety and well-being.

“The extensive dissemination of the initiative throughout the state has contributed significantly to its success, generating awareness and encouraging citizen participation in reporting and preventing domestic violence,” he said.

He said that the emergency reports received cover a wide range of situations, from cases of domestic violence to street aggressions.

Muñoz Martínez emphasized that the “Mujer Valiente” initiative is part of the current government’s commitment to provide security to women.

“Educational programs, awareness campaigns and prevention actions have been implemented to address the underlying causes of violence and foster a culture of respect and equity in society,” stressed the head of the SPSC in Campeche, Marcela Muñoz.
