The state of Yucatan will host the Smart City Expo Latam Congress for the fourth consecutive year, from May 23-25, 2023, at the “Siglo XXI” Convention Center.
The event is expected to bring together more than 10,000 people from over 300 cities in 45 countries, 100 mayors from Mexico and Latin America, 200 institutions and companies, 300 speakers, and 55 media partners to discuss and promote innovative actions for the development of smart cities.
This year the theme of the meeting is “Viable projects, real impacts”, and will address topics such as urban spaces, digital transformation, climate change, sustainable territories, smart destinations, connected society, and cities that care.
Two additional events will also be held: Tomorrow Mobility, a cycle of conferences and exhibitions of sustainable mobility solutions, and Smart Fest, an event to involve young people in challenges and solutions related to smart cities.
The organizers highlight the collaborative work of the state of Yucatan and its State Development Plan as an example worldwide in the development of smart cities, which is why it was chosen to host the event organized by Fira Barcelona.
