The 18-year-old girl and her three-year-old son turn out safe and sound in Merida

After the Amber Alert was activated in Yucatan, 18 year old Sol Merry H.E. and her 3 year old son N.A.H. were located in Merida.

It was last May 11 when the young woman left her home in the Miraflores subdivision of Merida, for which she was reported missing.

The State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) issued a search bulletin for the disappearance of Sol Merry to begin locating her.

Almost a week later, the young woman was located by the Specialized Unit for the Search of Missing Persons of the FGE, in coordination with the State Investigation Police (PEI) of the SSP.

Authorities transferred the young woman, who at the time, it was not disclosed that she had disappeared along with her three year old son.

Sol Merry H.E. revealed that she had escaped from her home in the Miraflores subdivision of Merida on May 11 due to family problems.

After corroborating that they were not victims of any crime, the Amber Alert was deactivated in Yucatan, concluding the investigation that is part of the search file.
