Grand Palladium Riviera Maya will host the first clinics of the Real Madrid Foundation in the Mexican Caribbean.
Can you imagine your children practicing soccer with coaches from the winning team of the Champions League 2022? Then take note because it will be at the sports facilities of Grand Palladium Riviera Maya Resort & Spa where the first clinics given by the Real Madrid Foundation in the Mexican Caribbean will take place.
The synergy that Palladium Hotel Group has maintained since 2020 with the Real Madrid club, first as a sponsor of the basketball team in Spain and then as a strategic hospitality partner, has given way to an alliance to promote the active soccer training program under the methodology of the champion team and certified by the foundation.
The first clinics in Latin America as part of this alliance were held last year at Grand Palladium Imbassaí, on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the resort & spa in Brazil. Due to the great success, the group decided to hold them again at the Brazilian property and expand the program to Grand Palladium Riviera Maya.

“We saw the opportunity to offer one of the best vacation experiences for children because we share with Real Madrid the same values; we identify with that desire to always strive for excellence, stay competitive and not settle for just one triumph.”
Sergio Zertuche, Chief of Sales & Marketing Officer of Palladium Hotel Group, revealed in an exclusive interview with Forbes Life.none
Training Dynamics
The proximity to the Real Madrid Foundation, the organization that runs the clinics around the world, will allow both boys and girls (between 6 and 14 years of age) to learn soccer strategies from the club’s high-performance professionals and even from real soccer legends for five days. One of the goals, says Zertuche, is to have the presence of figures such as Roberto Carlos.
The participants will be divided into different groups and it is not necessary for them to have previous knowledge of soccer, nor do they need to have a certain level of performance. Each group will be led by a coach from the Real Madrid Foundation and will be assisted by Portuguese coaches.
They will also be equipped by the organization with everything necessary for this experience in the Mexican Caribbean exclusively for guests of Grand Palladium Riviera Maya. The first clinic will be held from July 31 to August 4 and the second from August 7 to 11. Reservations can already be made through a specially created website: frmclinicspalladium.com/en/clinics-mexico/.
The first clinic will be held from July 31 to August 4 and the second from August 7 to 11, during the 2023 summer vacation period.
The experience is exclusively for guests of Grand Palladium Riviera Mayanone.
In this way, children will enjoy a phenomenal vacation by combining an exciting professional sports practice with fun moments on the beach and resort facilities; as well as parents, who will be able to take advantage of spa time and other benefits while their children train.
Another Plus
Families enjoying memorable experiences at its brands aimed at this segment is a priority for the high-end hospitality group. For this reason, the construction of Family Selection has officially begun at Grand Palladium Riviera Maya.

Sergio Zertuche confirmed that as of April 1, construction work began on the complex, which will have approximately 170 rooms and suites on the beachfront in the Kantenah development, a lobby, a “spectacular” swimming pool, restaurant, exclusive services, Family Boss program and its distinctive butler service.
Family Selection Riviera Maya is scheduled to open for the 2023 year-end holiday period. With this hotel, there will be three properties operating with this concept in Mexico, considering those located at Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres and Grand Palladium Vallarta.
