The owner of the dog said she was responsible for the attack on the girl in Mérida; however, it is presumed that she would have fled the city.
A pit bull dog attacked a minor when she was in a Los Almendros II park located in Ciudad Caucel, in Mérida, Yucatan.
The fact that was reported through social networks mentions that the child was walking in the park when the dog attacked her, since it is presumed that its owner was walking him without due care.
The minor would have suffered injuries to her right arm, so when the owner intervened, the dog was able to release the girl, requiring the presence of paramedics.
Agents of the Ministry of Public Security (SSP) attended to the minor, while policemen took the data from the dog’s dream, who said he was responsible for the medical expenses.
However, it circulated on Facebook that the woman fled to avoid the authorities, for which reason it was required that the corresponding complaint be filed with the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE).
