Mexico has 10 cities with the best quality of life, according to data from the Mexican Institute of Competitiveness (IMCO).

The most favorable aspects have an impact on each person’s physical health, physiological state, social relations, their level of independence and their relationship with their environment.

Mexico is made up of 2,548 municipalities within its 32 states, with the city of Merida, located in the state of Yucatan, leading the ranking.

The indicators of the Urban Competitiveness Index indicate that it has one of the best educational coverage.

It underlines that, out of every 10 people, seven children of 14 years old study, without forgetting the excellent medical service it offers.

In second place is San Luis Potosí, with a good level of schooling, highlighting that the so-called labor gender gap has been considerably reduced.

Querétaro is in third place, with the lowest rate of people with a low level of well-being and the highest number of socially responsible companies.

Further down the list are Mexico City and its suburbs, Chihuahua, Guadalajara, Saltillo, Aguascalientes, Monterrey and Tijuana.
