As part of the Noche Blanca cultural festival, the Pasión por la Arquitectura (Passion for Architecture), artistic exhibition was held on the emblematic Paseo de Montejo, organized by the Yucatecan real estate developer Grupo Axeda and by the Yucatecan College of Architects.
In the event, the works of the prestigious Yucatecan Architecture Biennial were exhibited, which includes the best of the state’s architecture, from the remodeling of historic houses in Mérida, to contemporary spaces that have won national and international awards.

Sol Coatl Días Línez, General Director and founding partner of Grupo Axeda, pointed out that it is an honor for Axeda to host this exhibition, which is evidence of the architectural quality found in Yucatan, and of course the real estate quality.
He assured that architecture in Yucatan is experiencing a historic and outstanding moment thanks to the College, as is the real estate sector, since it is attracting attention at a national and even international level.
¨We are witnesses of that important moment for the real estate sector, since our developments such as the subdivision of residential land ROSAVENTO Ciudad Maya have been widely accepted nationwide and we even have a large number of international clients. Because of the premium amenities that we have included in this development, but also because of its architectural details and spaces,” he stated.
For his part, the architect Miguel Sosa Correa, president of the Yucatan College of Architects, said that the exhibition’s objective is that the Yucatecan Architecture Biennial and the dissemination of the quality of its works in the different categories reaches all of Yucatecan society. .
¨As a school, not only does this important architectural exhibition unite us with Grupo Axeda, we are also united by the work of promoting professionalism, good practices, certainty and formality in the sector. That is our common goal, especially at an important moment and due to the growth that Mérida is experiencing”, mentioned Sosa Correa.
At the end of the inaugural event, there was a tour of the works and a beer tasting for the attendees.
