A karate instructor was arrested by agents of the Yucatan Police as he is accused of abusing a minor student two years ago.
According to what was communicated by the Secretary of Public Security, José Antonio “N” is accused of sexually abusing a minor whom he taught at the “Yugen Sport Karate” academy, located in the San Esteban neighborhood, in the north of Mérida. The events would have occurred in 2021.
After the complaint, a judge issued the arrest warrant, since the investigating prosecutors have evidence that he would have committed lewd acts against the victim during classes.
The 36-year-old subject from Mexico City was detained to be presented before the control judge who will determine his legal status.
