Julián Zacarías ranks among the best-rated mayors in the country

Julián Zacarías, the mayor of Progreso, ranks 41st in the national ranking of the best-evaluated mayors, with an approval rating of 53.2 percent. He is also the second best-rated mayor at the state level, with a 53.1 percent approval rating, according to the polling company Mitofsky.

Over the past year, he has climbed from the 86th position on the list in June 2022 to the 41st position in the April 2023 measurement.

Julián Zacarías Curi is the first reelected mayor of the port and is currently serving his second term in office (2021-2024).
