

Governor Mauricio Vila Dosal presented the details of the expansion of the Puerto de Altura de Progreso (Progreso High Port) to Adán Augusto López Hernández, Secretary of the Interior.
In the presence of state congressmen, Governor Mauricio Vila held a meeting with the federal Secretary of the Interior at the International Congress Center in Mérida.
Subsequently, during a brief conference after the meeting, the Governor provided further details about the discussion with Adán Augusto López regarding the expansion of the Puerto de Altura de Progreso.
Vila Dosal stated that the investment in the project would amount to 3,063 million pesos, funds that would be jointly managed by the state and federal governments.
He anticipated that the construction works at Puerto Progreso would last approximately 12 months, so that by the end of his term, at least 80% of the project would be completed.
Following the meeting between Mauricio Vila Dosal and Adán Augusto López Hernández, the Secretary of the Interior will have a meeting with entrepreneurs and representatives of civil society in the city of Mérida.
