Matteo Bruni, spokesperson for the Vatican, informed that Pope Francis had an episode of fever, leading to the cancellation of his agenda, and he did not receive anyone in audience.

Italian media reported that the Supreme Pontiff appeared to be tired during a meeting with students on Thursday afternoon.

At the end of March, Francis was hospitalized for bronchitis, but he recovered quickly and resumed his work schedule.
