

In order to detonate tourism in Cuba, the XLI edition of the International Tourism Fair kicked off this Monday in Havana, with Culture and Heritage as its main axis.
During the inaugural event at the San Carlos de la Cabaña Fortress, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Cuba, Manuel Marrero Cruz, acknowledged the economic crisis derived from the covid-19, as well as the more than 200 measures implemented by the U.S. government during the administration of former President Donald Trump.
The official assured that the government is working to recover and support the Cuban people, in addition to positioning the island as one of the main tourist destinations in the world.

For his part, the governor of Havana, Reinaldo García Zapata, highlighted the history of the capital, which since 2016 has been a wonder city of the modern world.
Representatives of the more than 50 countries invited, were able to enjoy various musical performances, dance and gastronomy offered by Cuba.
FITCuba 23, will be held until next Friday, May 5, where the various hotel groups and airlines will present their various strategies to attract tourism.
