After a vote on social media, the new German Shepherd puppy of the Mexican Armed Forces, from Turkey, will be named Arkadas, which means “friend”.
The furry little one will begin its training with the army to become a hero like Proteo and carry out rescue tasks.
“At the ceremony, his name was announced, which was chosen by the people of #Mexico. #Arkadas. Welcome home Champion!” wrote the Mexican Armed Forces on social media.
