Andrés López, President of Mexico, announced that on Tuesday, May 9, they will issue a statement on the state of the pandemic in the country, in which they could declare its end.
This morning, the WHO declared the end of the global health emergency due to the Covid-19 pandemic, after the reduction of severe cases and deaths.
“We were waiting for that declaration, and on Tuesday, when we inform about health, a statement will be issued in this regard,” he said during his press conference.
He said that doctors will present their conclusions on the matter, and on Monday, members of the Health Sector will meet to evaluate the situation and make a decision.
