AMLO begins supervision of the Tren Maya and other projects in Yucatan

The President of the Republic boarded the official vehicle en route to Air Base No. 8, where he would meet with Governor Mauricio Vila Dosal to once again supervise the progress of the Tren Maya and other projects being carried out in the state.

This marks the President’s 9th visit to Yucatan for these purposes and the second in May, fulfilling his own mandate to personally oversee the progress of the works every 15 days.

In April, due to the holiday period, only one visit was recorded, while President López Obrador has also been in Mérida to lead an event for the Banco del Bienestar and the Banking Convention.
