A man drowns in Progreso

A person drowned in front of the Port of Progreso Traditional Boardwalk.

Yesterday, Sunday afternoon, the beach walk ended in tragedy as a man drowned in the sea. The man was rescued and taken to the shore, where his body remained lifeless. Municipal Police officers cordoned off the area while the State Attorney General’s Office personnel carried out the corresponding procedures.
