MÉRIDA, Yuc., April 26, 2023.- On Tuesday, April 25, the death of the young Yucatecan circus performer Rodolfo Durán, known as “Roddy”, was confirmed. in the U.S. Roddy unfortunately lost his life during a Circus “Do Portugal” performance.
It was on Monday, April 25th, when during a presentation, the young man suffered an accident after falling from more than 8 meters high, in a circus act called “Trepe” or tightrope.
In Rodolfo Durán’s family social networks they reported his death during the early hours of Tuesday, April 25thafter the fall.

“Roddy” was well known in the port of Progreso, as he was a member of the renowned Meza dynasty, of the Rosbel Circus.
Rodolfo started in his father’s circus, originally from Progreso, and as a result of the pandemic, he migrated to the United States, where he ended up working for the “Do Portugal” circus.
At the moment there has been no information about the transfer of the young man’s body to Yucatecan soil.
