Booomba! Get ready for some panuchos because Yucatán Exhibits in CDMX will be starting soon. This is a cultural fair with art, gastronomy and Yucatecan shows in the capital’s Zócalo.

It will take place from May 12 to 21 and access is free, so you won’t spend all your savings to see top quality shows. Different cultural expressions of the peninsula will be concentrated here; from its typical costumes to its delicious food.

Yes, you will taste authentic dishes such as: relleno negro, puchero, papak-tsul, sopa de lima, frijol puerco and cochinita pibil. There will also be drinks, sweets, desserts and even traditional liquors. Everything is made by artisans and inhabitants of this region.

The gastronomic offer excites us, but it is not the only thing there will be. The program includes a bazaar of handicrafts with figures, textiles and other typical items. There will also be dance performances, orchestra and even comedy.
