“Pig Beach” gets a an extreme makeover

With the purpose of offering new and better options for family entertainment, the City Hall presided by Mayor Julián Zacarías Curi reopens Villa Pig Beach, a space that maintains a focus on the care and protection of wildlife and that from today will have new amenities for the delight of all visitors.

In this beach, located at the entrance of Chelem Puerto, visitors will be able to enjoy a pleasant tour where they will find lounge chairs, umbrellas, tables, bathrooms, showers, changing tables, photo spot, swings in the sea, volleyball net, snack cart, paddle board and kayak rental, palapa with sale of mixology and coconuts, and souvenir store. Also, as part of the expansions made, there are spaces adapted for wheelchair users to tour the place and parking.

In order for visitors to have a comfortable and pleasant experience in a clean, safe and recreational space, they can count on the support of hosts as well as staff to keep our beach clean, bathroom attendants and coast guard. All of them are duly trained with various courses such as: First Aid, tourist hosting, species management, turtle and dolphin stranding and conflict control, among others. There is also a municipal ecological police station at the site.

In addition to the above, it is important to highlight that Villa Pig Beach is certified as a 100% smoke and emission-free space, endorsed by the Ministry of Health, COFEPRIS and CONADIC.

With these new attractions, Villa Pig Beach is a new spot for families to visit and enjoy the sea while they get to know and live with the pigs. Don’t miss it!
