Thousands of Yucatecan families gathered at the main beaches of the state, in order to start the Easter vacation.
From the early hours of Sunday, April 2, hundreds of vehicles began to arrive at the port of Progreso.
This is beneficial for the locals, who are eagerly awaiting this season, as their sales increase up to 200% every day.
On the traditional malecon you could see families with barbecues, as well as tents, awnings, and umbrellas to cover themselves from the sun.
Vacations have already started, and with this, families take advantage of their free time to enjoy the beach and mitigate the heat.
