A person was found tied up in handcuffs on the Playa del Carmen-Cancun federal highway, where Solidaridad police officers went to check on the victim in the middle of the road.

According to preliminary information, the incident was reported to the 911 emergency number at 7:10 a.m. this Tuesday morning, indicating that someone had been left lying at the Nickelodeon Riviera Maya Hotel, bound hand and foot.
It was also reported that the victim was dressed in blue pants, with a white t-shirt and a white shirt, without giving further details about the person who was rescued from the site.

In addition, it was reported that the person had already lost his life, so they notified the Ministerial Police, and personnel from the Forensic Services of the Attorney General’s Office (FGE Quintana Roo) for the corresponding investigations.

Workers from the Forensic Medical Service (SEMEFO) also arrived at the scene to remove the body and transfer it to the morgue of the city, to later perform the autopsy.
Finally, it was revealed that near the site where the victim’s body was found, there was an abandoned cab, so they suspect that it could be involved in the murder.
