Cancun nominated for World Travel Awards 2023

Cancun, Q.R., April 15, 2023.- Cancun is nominated in five categories of the World Travel Awards, in its 2023 edition, positioning it as one of the main tourist destinations for vacationing, this was announced by the Municipal President, Ana Patricia Peralta, who highlights the pride of Cancun in the framework of the 53rd anniversary of its founding.

The First Authority emphasized that, thanks to the humanism, unity and quality of service of its inhabitants, Cancun received these five nominations that reflect the quality of service for national, foreign and international tourists.

In this 2023 edition, the categories to compete are: Leading Beach Destination in Mexico and Central America 2023; Leading Business Travel Destination in Mexico and Central America 2023; Leading City Break Destination in Mexico and Central America 2023; Leading City Destination in Mexico and Central America 2023; and Leading Meetings and Conference Destination in Mexico and Central America 2023.

In addition to the five nominations, the Cancun International Airport was also nominated in the category Leading Airport in the World 2023; the Convention Center in the category Leading Conference and Meeting Center in the World 2023; as well as various hotel complexes, travel agencies and tours.

Likewise, the Municipal President extended an extensive invitation to citizens, businessmen and service providers to register at the link https://www.worldtravelawards.com/vote and vote for Cancun in the various nominations for the “Oscars of World Tourism Awards”, reiterating that the deadline for receiving votes is July 9, 2023.
