At least three vehicles were damaged after several aluminum structures in Plaza Altabrisa in Merida fell on top of them on the afternoon of Monday, April 3rd.
The incident occurred near the area where the movie theaters burned down a few days ago, where several metal structures detached from the wall.
The vehicles were parked when, for reasons that have not yet been disclosed, the aluminum panels fell on them.
It was reported that at least three vehicles were damaged, one of which had its rear window totally destroyed, but fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Several photographs of these panels which fell on top of vehicles, causing extensive material damage, are circulating on social networks.
The Secretariat of Public Safety (SSP) took knowledge of the incident, where the owners of the vehicles were located to notify their respective insurance companies.
