In the early hours of this Tuesday, March 28th, the Ministry of Economic Development and Labor organized a seminar with the intention that the giant in computing and technology, Microsoft, train small and medium entrepreneurs so they can rely on digital resources to multiply sales or production, the Assistant Secretary of Investment and Economic Development, Gerardo Diaz de Zavala, reported that this strategy of being able to train companies, had been planned since the 2018 campaign.
“We are increasingly seeing a connected world driven by technology and it is a pleasure for Sefoet to be a participant in events like this along with Microsoft, expos, and networks of the Mayab, the contribution of technology is undoubted, the good use of this can lead us to a real transformative force and economic momentum.”
Later in the afternoon, Yucatan received the first FedEx plane, a parcel company, known as ATR, which is recognized for its low polluting effects, Diaz Zavala, explained that this plane will connect Merida with Miami and other destinations in the Yucatan peninsula.
“Today we are taking the steps towards having better living conditions from the place that corresponds to us, today it is Fedex that raises its hand for the environment to reduce its impact on our planet while allowing Yucatan’s operations with the exterior because this AR72 operates a very important route for our state as is the Miami Merida route and is of great benefit to our citizens.”
This aircraft will offer services from Monday to Friday, with which Fedex showed its confidence in the Yucatan territory.
