In January 2022 it was 605.51 million pesos.
The January 2023 figure was also 33.38% higher than that reported in the same month of 2021, 505.82 million pesos, according to the results of the National Survey of Construction Companies (ENEC) of the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (Inegi), released on March 22nd.
The report reveals that the total for the first month of this year failed to reach the levels of January 2020 (prior to the start of the Covid-19 pandemic), which was 848.56 million pesos (-20.55%), and January 2021, when it accumulated 994.53 million pesos (-32.22%).
As we have reported, after presenting negative figures in the first three quarters of 2022, in the fourth quarter (October-December), the construction sector in Yucatan, rebounded reaching an increase of 44.32% with respect to the same quarter of 2021, reporting that the total production value generated by these companies in the entity was for 1,892.12 million pesos (mdp).
