Karate athlete Lupita Quintal participated in the panel discussion “Women in Sports” along with Alejandra Maffey, founder of Neta Agencia, and Liliana Suárez, president of the Mexican Paralympic Committee.
The event was held at the Universidad Anáhuac Mayab and the guests spoke about the current situation of women in sports, shared some experiences and obstacles.
In their message, they urged women to believe in themselves, as a fundamental basis to start following their dreams and work with sorority, supporting and being empathetic with other women.
Likewise, to break paradigms in terms of gender roles and set an example in all areas, both in sports, personal and family.
“Commemorating the day together with great personalities of the National Sports. How nice to agree that there are many of us working every day to pave the way for new generations,” the karateka posted on her social networks.
Just last weekend, Lupita qualified for her third Central American and Caribbean Games.
