Despite the arrival of a cold front, thousands of tourists come to Chichen Itza for the Equinox

The spring equinox is one of the most awaited spectacles by visitors to the Yucatan Peninsula, as many take advantage of these days to recharge their energy by meditating while watching these spectacles.

The archaeological zone of Dzibichaltun and the archaeological zone of Chichén Itzá become the most visited points during the days when the equinox can be appreciated.

However, this weekend a cold front affected the weather conditions in the peninsula, and since it was cloudy it was not possible to appreciate the descent of Kukulcan in the pyramid.

But that was not an impediment for tourists, who still came to the call, causing traffic on the road to Chichén Itzá.
