

MÉRIDA, Yucatan, March 17, 2023. From March 30 to April 1, the 25th edition of Expo Construcción 2023 will be held at the Centro de Convenciones Yucatán Siglo XXI, and around 5 thousand people are expected to attend the event.
This was informed by the president of the Mexican Chamber of the Construction Industry of Yucatan (CMIC) Raul Monforte Gonzalez, who highlighted that there are already 90 exhibitors registered for the expo, including local, national and foreigners, and with this they surpass the number of exhibitors of 2022, which was 70.
“We expect to have around 5 thousand visitors in the three days of the event, of the 90 exhibitors 85 are from the private sector, because we have some that are public agencies, such as City Hall, Infonavit and State Government, 6 are foreign from, Japan, Italy, Switzerland, United States and Germany the local exhibitors, there are 50.”
He emphasized that when this expo started there were only local companies, and with this edition the growth is consolidated, since it is no longer only local or national, but companies from abroad are also participating.
He added that machinery has a special participation in the expo since more than 1000 square meters are destined to this sector.
He anticipated that the highest authorities of the state will be present at the inauguration, and the 44 CMIC delegations in the country are invited, as well as the national president of the chamber.
“National executives and the CMIC delegations of the country and businessmen of the industry will come, which will surely generate business appointments, contacts and sales of inputs for this industry”.
Finally, he commented that within the expo there will be a forum called, Investment Forum for Growth and Prosperity, as he said, the only key to generate economic growth and prosperity in the population is investment in infrastructure, this forum will consist of a panel discussion and a keynote speech.
