AMLO says the investigations will determine if there should be resignations at INM

MEXICO CITY. March 30, 2023.- The President of the Republic Andrés Manuel López Obrador reported that until the results of the investigations are available, it will be determined whether it is necessary to remove officials from the National Institute of Migration (INM), including its head Francisco Garduño, following the death of 39 migrants who were in a ranch run by the federal agency in Ciudad Juárez.

In the morning conference at the National Palace, the head of the Executive insisted that there will be no impunity for those found responsible, he announced that this Thursday at 3:00 p.m. the Secretary of Security, Rosa Icela Rodríguez, will announce the progress in the investigations and the channel of arrest warrants requested by the Attorney General of the Republic.
