President Andrés Manuel López Obrador bragged that he watched the match between the Mexican and Argentine national teams accompanied by actor Tenoch Huerta, who plays Namor in the movie Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
On his social networks, the president posted an image of the two, and wrote a message of consolation to the Mexican players, who were defeated 2-0 by the Argentines.
“We still have a chance and this is not over until it’s over,” wrote the president, in reference to the fact that El Tri could still qualify to the round of 16 if it beats Saudi Arabia on Wednesday, and Argentina is defeated by Poland.
“Besides, tomorrow we are going to celebrate that there are no two like Mexico and its people,” López Obrador wrote in reference to his march on Sunday.
