Starting today, tomorrow, Saturday November 12 and Sunday November 13, the Fiesta Americana hotel in Merida will host the event “El sazon de Valladolid en la cocina regional yucateca” (Valladolid’s seasoning in Yucatecan regional cuisine).
The event is organized by the Association of Restaurants of Valladolid (Arvay) A.C., whose members invite you to enjoy the delights of Valladolid this weekend from 12:00 noon until 11:00 p.m.
During the days of the Festival, attendees will be able to enjoy delicious dishes such as relleno negro entrerrado, papadzules, cochinita, sopa de lima, longaniza de Valladolid, lomitos de Valladolid, panuchos and salbutes.
This Saturday, November 12, the event will take place at the Los Almendros restaurant of the Fiesta Americana hotel; while on Sunday, November 13, the venue will be El Rincón Regional del Brunch Dominical, at the same hotel.
The event will include the participation of traditional cook Lucía Cosgaya Solís.
Among those also supporting the event will be chefs Moisés Uc Heredia, vice president of Culinary Arts of the Arvay; Juan Manuel Hau Caamal, owner of Yakunaj restaurant; and Daniel Chalé Alcocer, owner of Cocina Libre restaurant.
