According to police reports, an approximately 30-year-old woman was found dead on Wednesday, August 31st, in her home located on Calle 42 with 49 A and 49 B of the Francisco de Montejo, in the northeast of the city.
What was investigated at the scene indicates that it was the woman’s family who found the body, which was already in an advanced state of decomposition and with alleged signs of violence. They went to look for her after days of not knowing anything about her.
After the report of the relatives to the emergency numbers, agents of the Ministry of Public Security (SSP), as well as the State Investigation Police (PEI) arrived at the site to initiate the complaints of the case.
It is said that the body had signs of violence, so the femicide protocol was activated to start the investigations.
Until now, the authorities remain totally secretive about this case, which has shocked residents of the area.
