Man charged with homicide in the first degree in Tecoh, Yucatan

Emboldened by the liquor, Javier S.Ch., killed Víctor Manuel Y.C. with an accurate shotgun blast, in a neighborhood of Tecoh, after he argued with the now deceased: The murderer is already in prison, accused of aggravated homicide, which is punishable by up to 40 years in prison.

On Friday, August 26, at 9:15 p.m., Javier, who began to get drunk hours earlier in the afternoon with the now-deceased Víctor Manuel and other people, argued with him; He was so upset that he went to his house, located in the Santa Julia neighborhood of Tecoh, and went to a store to buy bullets.

Then, shotgun in hand, he walked towards Victor, aimed it at him, and shot him in the chest, so that he killed him instantly. All this was seen by Marcelo Y.F., father of the now deceased, who shouted at Javier about what he had done to his son.

After the cowardly and deadly attack, Javier left the weapon and left the place on a motorcycle driven by another person, but Marcelo followed him and asked for help from police officers from the Ministry of Public Security who arrested the murderer.

The murderer was consigned before the control judge of Kanasín, Mariza Virginia Polanco Sabido, who charged him and imposed the precautionary measure of informal preventive detention that will last the entire time the process lasts and scheduled the connection hearing for Thursday, September, 1st.
