by Yucatan Times

Today the new night transportation routes begin to operate in Mérida, starting at 11:00 p.m., with a service that will last until 5:00 a.m., benefiting hundreds of people who work during that time in different parts of the city.

There are a total of 13 routes, most of which depart from the Center of Mérida, at bus stops located on Calle 58 between 57 and 59, in addition to two routes that cover the Periférico (“Va y Ven”), as well as the Poniente Circuit, and the Metropolitan Circuit.

Starting today, until September 30, the service will be free, and from October 1 it will cost 15 pesos, which will be charged through smart cards of the “Va y Ven” system.

But the “Va y Ven” mobile phone application will also allow you to know, consult and follow up on all the routes of this new night route, which has finally become a reality in our city.

The routes enabled for this service are the following:

Center- Kanasín.
Center-The Island.
Center- 42 south-Cielo Alto.
