Renán Barrera, mayor of Mérida, reported that the sustainable stadium does not have permits for its construction in Cordemex and that investors are exploring other options far from the urban sprawl.
“There are no permits yet granted for it, we will be very aware that they request it in the property that is available for it,” said the mayor, who pointed out that investors “are in a particular search” for other land.
“Spaces that are outside the urban sprawl, but rather that are a little on the outskirts, a little further,” he specified.
