Feria Tunich: 21 years promoting the efforts of Merida artisans (Jul. 29-Aug. 7)

After two years of digital format due to the pandemic, FERIA TUNICH returns to its face-to-face modality. As a result of the collaborative work that authorities and citizens have carried out looking to improve the local economy.

Not even the pandemic stopped the efforts of artisans and the municipal government to promote this sector since the Mérida City Council resorted to technology to design a microsite that allowed artisans and small businesses to promote their creations virtually without health risks during the past two years.

This unprecedented situation showed us the need to be in constant evolution and adapt to the circumstances in which we live.

And now, the TUNICH FAIR brings together in its 2022 edition, 150 local artisans and artisans, from Puebla, Guanajuato, Korea, and Guatemala, who from July 29 to August 7 will offer for sale filigree products, textiles, ceramics, glass, stone, wood, crafts in general.

In this regard, the Mayor announced that the Mérida City Council will offer visitors during the fair the presentation of 40 shows.
