For more than two weeks, the 36-year-old woman and her 5-month-old son remained missing after fleeing a case of violence by her now ex-partner.

After announcing her disappearance on Friday, June 17th, the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) revealed the location of Anyela Karina Chirinos Trujillo, 36 years old, along with her son C.J.M.Ch., 5 months old.

On May 27th, the woman was reported missing after leaving her home. However, the Venezuelan citizen declared that she fled from her house due to the severe case of family violence that she is experiencing.

The woman remained missing for almost two weeks but returned with the support of the Specialized Unit in the Search for Missing and Unlocated Persons (UBP) of the FGE and the State Investigative Police (PEI) of the Ministry of Public Security (SSP).

Anyela Karina told FGE personnel that her ex-sentimental partner was constantly assaulting her, for which she preferred to run away from her house.

However, the woman filed a complaint against the man, which led to the closure of the GS / 0000108/2022 folder for the crime of family violence.
