A tragedy occurred on Sunday, April 17th, during a Yucatecan Rodeo tournament (locally known as Torneo de Lazo) at the Plaza de Toros “El Retoño”, in San Antonio Tehuitz, in Kanasín, where a young man died after being rammed by a bull.

According to the official report, Jared “N”, 19 years old, was participating in the event when he fell from his horse and the bull charged him several times, receiving more than three gorings in different parts of the body.

Given the fact, the young man was helped by other cowboys, who took him out of the ring.

Paramedics from the Ministry of Public Security (SSP) arrived at the site and took Jared to a hospital, where he unfortunately died, as he had lost too much blood.
