On the occasion of the 52nd Anniversary of Cancun, authorities of the Benito Juárez City Council organized diffferent cultural activities with which cultural identity, local economy, and healthy coexistence are promoted.
Within the framework of this celebration, on Monday, April 18th, an exhibition of Charrería was held in the main kiosk of the Alfredo V. Bonfil delegation, which featured a number of “Charros” from Guadalajara, thus reinforcing the Mexican roots and the cultural diversity that exists in this important tourist destination.
In addition, the “Paseo Pionero” tour was carried out in the founding area of the city, which starts from the Pancho Villa market on Nader Avenue, visiting historical sites and murals created to beautify the city center with the aim of promoting education and culture at the hands of local artists and associations.
Similarly, in the Plaza de la Reforma there was the Artisan Pavilion, with the participation of various producers from Cancun, who will continue this Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday offering their craft products to foreign and national tourists, as well as to citizens, all of this in order to boost the economy of these microentrepreneurs.
