Thursday Night Movie at Il Caffe

Thursday, Jan. 13th brings us a heart-warming movie that will grab you by the heartstrings and never let go. 

Oscar-winner Joaquin Phoenix stars as a radio journalist traveling around the US interviewing kids and teenagers about “life issues” while also caring for his energetic nephew Jesse, played to perfection by newcomer Woody Norman. 

Directed by Mike Mills (who also wrote and directed 20th Century Women (2016), which earned him an Oscar nomination for Best Original Screenplay), C’mon C’mon (2021) has received nine wins and 37 nominations at international film festivals.  A must-see.  Here’s the IMDb link:
