“The members of the State Coordination for the Construction of Peace, have reinforced the actions of collaboration and exchange of information that allow the identification and apprehension of the person or persons responsible for these events,” the agency highlighted.
Meanwhile, Governor Cuauhtémoc Blanco lamented the “cowardly” murder of the activist and assured that they are working to bring those responsible to justice.
For his part, the Undersecretary of the Interior, Alejandro Encinas , urged the Morelos Prosecutor’s Office to investigate and clarify the murder quickly and not rule out Garduño Juárez’s work as a defender as a line of investigation.
