State authorities say that 21,000 Campeche citizens do not have a valid voter ID

Citizens who are in this situation are obliged to go to the module and make their exchange and renew their identification.

(CAMPECHE, CAMP. – INE), January 24, 2022.- The National Electoral Institute (INE) reported that nearly 21,000 credentials were eliminated from the Nominal List and the Electoral Register, as they are no longer valid.

It was confirmed that citizens who have a credential from 2019 to 2021 are no longer valid as a means of identification, and cannot be an instrument to exercise their right to vote in the AMLO’s referendum coming up next April.
