In this regard, Francisco Díaz González, general commissioner of the corporation, pointed out that during 2021 there were few cases presented, although he was able to combat the illicit, thanks to the work of the authorities of the three levels of government.

“It has been controlled, in reality, with the presence of the different routes that we do with all the authorities, in that part of the gasoline line. Until now, what we had last year of clandestine shots has been minimal, ” he explained.

According to the report of the security corporation, throughout the past year at least 3 clandestine intakes in Pemex pipelines were detected, which were secured and withdrawn.

He explained that the findings of clandestine intakes were made in sections near the Flamboyanes community, in the municipality of Progreso, where the gasoline pipelines cross.

He mentioned that within the actions applied, it was possible to secure a vehicle and various materials that were allegedly used for the extraction of fuel, although until now there has been no report of detainees.

“We do surveillance in all federal and state stations, as well as the contribution by Pemex security that it has established. We have to continue working with the Prosecutor’s Office to be able to continue carrying out this type of actions that allow them to be reduced, ” he said.
